Felt like indulging in gossip
Just about to ring up a friend,
I halted….
A moment of awareness
Looked at
That emptiness, I was
Seeking to fill with useless gossip
Closer look revealed....
She is so beautiful,
this emptiness!
this emptiness!
I looked at her closely
Dwelled in her for some time
And
She filled me!
There was no need to gossip!
No need to raid fridge!
No surfing TV aimlessly!
Enthusiasm for my new project took over!
