Deep respect & love,
Inspiring values
Helping us to be better being.
When destroyed,
Just structure gets destroyed
Values they inspire get multiplied
…..Many folds.
Will spirit of Buddhism – peace & love
Get destroyed with demolition of
Buddhas of Bamiyan?
Vacant space there
Silently transmit
Message of love to all,
Specially to those who committed its destruction
For they don’t know what they are doing
So do space at
Ground zero of
Twin towers, symbol of free world.

very beautiful, for some reason while writing mine I never thought of ground zero as a monument and I should have, thank you for reminding us all with these lovely words.
we try to attach emotions to places and as we try to protect our happiness, we need to protect our monuments.

You can destroy a monument, but not the values and cults behind them...
But then Why We intend to destroy them at all...
a monument is the shrine of those cults we have inhereted...
It is a sad truth...but the thing that will inspire us even if they are already busted, the memory of the monument which will be written in the pages of history...to live forever!
