One Single Impression: Grace

Dancing stars

Always inviting to join,

To play.

Unaware me

Busy in petty games,

Ignore.

His grace and

I look up,

…And smile pass my face.

Demolished and dissolved ego

Flow out with tears…

As i pray.

Caught in the process

 Champion of the cause she was.

No child labor – for she cared for children,

Fighting very hard for the cause.

Visiting places,

Meeting likeminded people,

Presentation on cause,

Explaining,

Interviews,

Discussions on TV…….

So important was fighting....

For the cause,

It took most of her time,

Most of her energy.

She hardly had any time

For her children,

Champion of the cause she was.

Known as such.

Crazy craving

Since ages....

My relentless efforts 

To merge with you

Is on.....

We meet,

We are together

We embrace,

Yet never one.

You remain you.

Stubborn.  Hard.

And I have to retreat.

Yet that crazy craving to be one with you

Makes me try again and again

…..Someday you will give in

And……. it will be all over.

Dear friend,

We met,

I pretend to be independent…….

Yet there are times

I want to be taken care of,

Want to be led, held by my finger.

There are times

Yet know that I am loved,

 safe, secure,

Taken care of,

Need not worry…

These are the moments…….

I feel lonely.

Don’t feel like reacting,

It gets heavier…..

Eyes get wet

Washing away

Many illusions.

Smile passes my face,

As I feel lighter.

It is difficult….

…..but I will ‘try’ said she.

What she meant was,

If it is done, ‘I’ have done it

If fails, it was difficult in any case.

‘Try’ is tricky

Diplomatic,

Sitting on the fence-

Head I win, tail you lose.

Non- committing

Half hearted, at the best.

Instead, 

“just do it”

takes long way.

I wanted her.

I tried very hard to get her,

She was always in my mind,

She was always in my heart,

But she kept eluding me.

One morning I got up,

And got involved with my work,

I forgot her,

Working hard with all my heart

While I was busy working,

Someone knocked my door,

It was she! His grace bestowed.       

Success is her name.
