River of Life & Harmony

River of life

Sitting on the bank
Looking at the flow
Just seeing…..
Whirls, weaves, pace, swell, drop, current…..

Just seeing…..
Is
so cooling
So gratifying….

Isn’t thinking to change it foolish? and
Efforts painful and futile?
Yet indulging often in that foolishness!

Harmony

Loving is flowing with flow
Surrendering needs no efforts
Going against brings pain.

I love to be 'foolish,' Harshad.
At least to sit by a body of water and contemplate and meditate.

Hi Harshad, you wrote River so
soothing with the perfect words.

Harmony was very inviting also.

Oh, to be the uncarved block, accept the nature of things, and simply be. Beautiful poem.

Both poems are wonderful but harmony is a powerful piece. Amazing words as always!!

Lovely haiku and verse!! Did you have the River Kaveri in mind by any chance? ;) Changing the course of a river is really disastrous!!

Just watching the flowing river in its different manifestations is soothing. Wonderfully expressed.
