Place

So, we meet tomorrow again?
Where??
‘My place.’
“Your place?  No, my place”.
‘My place’
“No , my place”
.............
……….
It goes on…….

It is just that they want to hang on
With each other,
Not wanting to leave.

Deep in their mind is a place
Which is neither hers nor his,
It is a place that they can call ‘ours’.

Scene is not so romantic
For the waitress waiting on their table,
….Other guests are in queue.

I suppose what really matters is spending time with each other - for however long they can, the place really doesn't matter.

A place where every night is moonlit with or without the moon;
where the sun shines not to make the time tick away but to colour the sky crimson, pink , orange, grey, violet; to make the rainbow, to make them wait for the rain; to give silhouette to the birds returning home, so that they can watch together

Where there will be no queues, his time will be her's and her time will be his, neither of them caring about the time

Beautiful write up sir. Thanks

Regards

What a sweet poem...when love is present, the place doesn't matter.

A FUN MIX OF FEELINGS... LOVE, LINGERING, PLANNING, AND THE IRRITATION OF OTHERS...

You made me smile! I hope they both went to the same place at the same time.
