Heart needs few words

He kept on giving
Excuses,
Reasons,
Stories
And details……..
On and on……..

She calmly listened.....
Without saying a word.

At last when he was exhausted,

She slowly put her hands on his.
Her eyelids closing slowly,
……Pause of few moments
Transmitted the essence.

“I am sorry”
Was his response

and

Tears from his eyes carried with it
Hollow logic.

She heard within the depth of the hollow logic, all that his heart intended, hidden within the endless words.

She knew he was sorry and this is a wonderful way to explain it. So well done.

Hollow logic is where the heart steps in.

So coooling!

She understood, and what a way to say, 'it doesn't matter'!

What matters is much deeper and these peripheral incidents and things that ego creates can not affect it.

She understood, sigh.

Wow! What an excellent scene you captured. It does make me wonder what "hollow logic" he was using- I can only imagine. Such a good poem...

The heart's language, truly the shortest distance. How naturally this flowed!
