Opening up.....

Opening up…..closed windows

Why? Why should I??
Why not?
Not in my interest….No, not at all…..

Tense, restless,
Suffocated…..
Feelings trapped…..
Not finding a way to deal with the situation,
Tired…
I go to sea shore nearby.

Seated under open sky,
Pensive,
……Watching sun set.

Slowly……
Cool breeze, sound of sea,
Colorful sky…….
Get into me.
Body loosens & feels relaxed.

Beauty of nature outside
Connect and awaken
Within me
Its formless counterpart -my true nature,
Opening up closed windows.
Fresh breeze flow in.

Now……
Concern for my rights and interests
Changes to compassion & consideration,
Wanting to control replaced by desire to serve.

Suddenly,
Situation looks different....
there are many ways to deal with.

Smile passes my face.

Harshadji, this was a beautiful pensive mood by the sea shore. It is so relaxing and inevitably brings a smile.

Very well said. An open window is such a better choice than a closed one- the situation can totally change in an instant with the window open!
