A Little Prince

There was once a little prince,
He played,
He dreamed,
He loved.

He ordered…….

Now a grown up.
Still he is a prince within…
Still he dreams…
Still he loves…

He follows orders…..

Some evenings he drinks so he can sleep well.
(He has forgotten playing)

The prince that once thought of ruling the kingdom now just owns a 2BHK flat.
This is happening to most of the young men. They dream, they fail and they stop dreaming.

A commendable piece of poetry Harshadji.

So are all princes in our own world
as we grow older our child like dreams are replaced with mature worldly reality

Koi lauta de mere bite huae din!

Hi Deepak,

Thanks.

Reality is same - it doesn't change. We change as we grow older.

This prince has forgotten how to play. That brings him misery.

I know that u still play! Ha Ha ..

Trust me, Harshadji, the little prince never dies. Stays inside craving to come out but the hands that cradled and the heart that took his orders and the eyes that gleamed conveying love for him have either become weak or are no more there. So the Prince is scared to come out and lives on in the inner space but that who follows orders is not the prince who drinks to sleep well is not the prince, he who has stopped playing is not the prince. Harshad ji , he is someone whom prince doesn't know.. Sorry but you woke up the prince in me.. Thanks!

Hi Rameshji,

Yes. Child within never dies. So do Parents within.

Lets play like a child. Always.

Happy Playing!

Yes, Harshadji, I am so scared to grow up when I see grownup people around.

Bachpan Kii main oongli pakad kar saath saath apne laya hoon..
Zindgi kii rahon par masti se khelte badte aaya hoon...

Yes, Happy Playing!

Life is a game and lets play...

Playing is important. Winning is not.
