One Single impression:   Silence

On a garden bench

After morning walk,

Relaxed

I see…..

A quill floating in the air

Drifting slowly up

and down

A butterfly with green and red spots

Passes over my head

Then goes on to flower near,

A call of cuckoo

Soon answered by his mate,

Two friends on a bench next

Sharing a joke…laughing loudly

Cool morning air

Passing through my nostrils

Touching deep into my stomach

……….Making me

Lighter

Lighter…..

Floating with quill

Slowly up

And down……..

Flowing …….with flow

After rapid spirited climb

To the peak

…….Warm breathe cooling and slowing,

Still feeling pleasing pain 

of pulled hair

Head resting over her heart…..

Hear pounding of her heart beats

Dhak…..dhak ….dhak

Her hand moving in my head

Playing with hair,

Her heart beats loud and clear

Dhak……………….dhak ……………….dhak

Pause between two beats

more spacious.

In that space

I vanish.

Remain

Just..... silence

…….No wants

Just silence

For a few moments.

It must be there

Buried

Deep beneath where

My awareness could not reach.

Surfaced in my unawareness

Touched my heart,

Filled me with affection

I had known only playing in his lap

But not since then

In the morning, still

Traces of that experience lingering within, I

Searched and found old family album

Looked at my uncle’s picture and

Thanked him

For visiting me last night.

It must be there

Buried

Deep within,

What I had known playing in his lap

But not since then.

Flying happens only in dream

Dreams

Some air, some food, some water….

So simple

So easy to fulfill,

So little it takes and

Release,

Energize to

Roam, fly… enjoy

Call it needs

So complex

Satisfy one and

Other bigger is standing by,

Binding,

Keeps heavy and grounded,

Call it wants

Flying happens only in dreams.
