Wanting

Roots want so tree lives,
Mother wants so children can be fed,
Earth wants to be quenched so seeds can sprout,
Call it selfless wanting

Trees give shade
And flowers give fragrance unasked,
Sun gives light and
Fruits get consumed giving,
Call it giving that fulfills self

What touches heart more,
Selfless wanting
 or
Giving that fulfills self?

I love that you have started with 'roots' and ended with 'self'. I think it is an inevitable cycle, rotation: wanting and needing, filling and serving. There are treasures that the planet gives without being prompted, all that it asks is that we preserve. Lovely thoughts here.

Thank you for your visit. :)

I think it's pretty amazing to recognize how beautiful it is to give.
