Mountains

Mountains

One more among the crowd
I carry within,
Died today.

I feel better as I light his pyre.
It has made me lighter.
With each death within,
I am getting lighter & lighter….
I can fly higher & higher.....

Love for him now is genuine.
No wants, no demands.
Just love…for being part of my world,
Love of one being to another.

Looking back I wonder
When did he get into me?
Why did I carry him so long?
Why?

Questions lead me
To a dead end
Beyond which are huge mountains….
I am unable to cross….

With each death within,
I am getting lighter & lighter,
Gravity weaker and weaker…
I can fly higher & higher.....

Will I cross this MOUNTAINS?
……To freedom?

So very well done Harshadji!! Did not know where it was leading at first and loved as it unfolded, slowly like the petals of a flower.

Beautiful thoughts and ideas, and such good use of the prompt word.

What a challenge - way too alluring not to try; just like life, just like breathing.

Please have a good new week.

Oh I loved this post...
Surely you will cross the mountains...
Coz when the 'others' in you die,
YOU SHALL REMAIN.
AND PERVADE....

Food for thought. Your words held a lot of meaning, evocative and sad. We all struggle with these experiences in one way or another. Well done.
