Surrendering

Surrendering

A dog in street, my pet,

playful,

Loving.

Returning after a few days from tour,

I see him in a corner,

Low & depressed.

He runs towards me,                                        

His joy displayed,

Making me feel wanted.

Just loving and wanted to be loved.

He does it by waggling his tail.

I too like him

Missed my loved ones & their love,

Feeling low & depressed.

But I couldn’t waggle my tail.

Suffering silently….

What stopped me?                                                             

        *

But no more. 

                                                                             

I now know,

To waggle tail

is to surrender 

to HIM.
